I started out by getting my A+
(CompTIA) certification, others say don't
bother with that certification go for your MCSE right away!
Here is the course of study the way I plan to attack certification:
CompTIA Certifications(vendor neutral)
A+ 2 exams
Network+ 1 exam
Security+ 1 exam
Microsoft Certifications(vendor specific)
MCSA 3 exams + the CompTIA exams above
MCSE 3 exams + MCSA + CompTIA Security+ exam above
Anyway one wishes to approach certification it is available to help one
get ahead. Check out some of the different certifications one can aquire
above.
